Instructor Training

Agile Monkey is proud to be a host site for Balanced Body, a comprehensive Pilates Instructor training program that is designed to create thoughtful, creative and successful Pilates teachers. The program is taught by Master Instructors Lisa Graham, Ky Carnell-Russell and Arwen Brooke who are all deeply committed to a thorough and transformative educational experience. Our graduates have gone on to great successes locally and internationally.

Our program starts in February with the first modules in fairly rapid succession to help build for a solid foundation in Movement Principles/Anatomy through Mat & Reformer repertoire. As the modules advance they become more physically demanding - committing to a consistent personal practice is very important for success in the program longterm. Come learn from Master Instructor Lisa Graham, who literally helped to write the book on the Core Align!  Lisa has trained with Core Align inventor Jonathan Hoffman and was integral in the Core Align Curriculum Redesign/Development at Balanced Body.  A longtime Balanced Body Education Curriculum editor, Lisa had a profound influence on the current Core Align curriculum and is delighted to be able to share her extensive knowledge with all prospective Core Align teachers.

We also offer Continuing Education Workshops that are aimed at instructors of varying levels of experience, and those in the process of completing their instructor training program. 

We have no workshops scheduled at this time, but offer courses in:
